The Sens ended October on a sour note but, there are still some bright spots for the month. 6-4-2 is good enough for 6th in the East and puts the Sens on pace for a hair under 96 points on the season and based on the passed few years that's enough for the playoffs.

So, as for the one goal games? The Sens have 8 of a possible 10 points in one goal games this season. That is a definite bright spot for this team for the month of October. Here's hoping they can keep up that pace in one goal games at least.

I remember the frustration of fans regarding our record in one-goal games in the days of the run and gun Senators.

Interesting turn of events.

I thought we played a great game against Atlanta. It clearly wasn't our day.

It's also interesting to note that we haven't lost a one goal game in regulation yet.

3-0-2. One of the OT games was a blown 2 goal lead but the other was a come back from down 3 zip so I guess it evens out?
