New Posts record in a month

I just thought you should all know that we just took our old record of 11047 posts out to the wood shed and beat the snot out of it. September isn't even over yet and we have 13118 posts so far.

I'd like to thank Dany Heatley and the members of the GMHockey Draft Pool who tended to stay away from this site for hours and days on end, prompting myself and other neer-do-wells to randomly post "Come on, make your pick!" and and and various other completely useless posts (I mean, if the guy or gal aren't online, they are not going to see your -- or my -- witty one-smiley post, are they, and if they are online and are actually reading said post, then they are probably moments away from picking -- except, of course, for Blazer).

Wow, that's awesome. When did the Dany Asshat trade go down? This month right? I guess that's the reason for the massive influx, coupled with some newer members realizing that we all don't bite (hard ) and starting to post (Spader comes to mind, Vandelay etc.)
