Kuba was fantastic from the moment the Clouston era began. I've been really, really pleased with him obviously. Campoli was dynamite tonight as well.

Kuba's a neat player offensively though. He'll usually get the shot through to the net where good things happen.

I didn't really like Regin's game tonight, but he has set the bar a little higher. Some of these TOI numbers could be skewed due to being Shorthanded 7 freaking times.

Campoli was better, but dynamite, I don't think so.

That might have been overstating actually, but he was involved and was instrumental in keeping the puck in zones along the half walls. Nice pinching to keep plays alive. Had a couple of assists come from it if I recall. Maybe just one, I haven't looked at the box score yet.

At this rate, Cheechoo will be serving drinks at Melnyk's bar in Barbados.

Glad they found a way to win, sign of a good team. Hopefully A-train isn't gone for long.

We need to turn off this reputation thing. It's a little insulting from time to time to be perfectly honest.

Probably why Ruutu and Kelly were on the last few mins of the game. The PK guys were the ones that were fresh and had their legs going. Makes sense from that perspective.

Tough to get the entire bench into it.

I'm glad that game is done. The next penalty that was called, I was gonna lose it for sure.

You think that was bad? The officiating at the Raptors home opener almost sparked a riot bigger than the LA race one.

It was genuinely disturbing how lopsided the officiating in that game was in the second half...I don't believe in conspiracies, but it was clear something was going on.

The league should review refs every month. Some of them suck - and as we know, some of them in basketball cheat (and got caught).

Players are allowed slow starts. Are refs?

Perhaps to a degree. I wouldn't want to see another boneheaded performance like that tonight though if I was Director of Officiating (Van Helliman?)
