If you listened to Jeremy Roenick yesterday on the radio, he concurs.

Well, you get the idea.
are you accusing the NHL refs of something there?

But to the point where they were blatantly calling the game in favor of the Cavaliers, where just in two calls there was a seven point swing for Cleveland?
That charge that Bosh was trying to draw and the foul they called on Jarret Jack while Gibson was shooting the three were absolutely the most ridiculous calls I've ever seen.
I swear to God, they actually waited to see if Gibson's shot went in before they blew the whistle, and even on the replay, Jack may have glanced Gibson's hand in the slightest way. So slightly actually that you have to watch the replay and strain to see where he touched his hand.
I don't usually condone witch-hunting referees and blaming them for the outcome of a game, but if the fans at the ACC would have started peppering them with bottles and such, I might have been slightly satisfied in a perverse way.

Brutal? I don't know about that. Since Shean Donovan played only a touch over 4 minutes last night, I think we all know who the victim will be.
Just trade the poor bastard already.

Donovan still made the most of his 4 mins of ice, that's what a 4th line guy is supposed to do. He showed up somewhere in a positive light for The Sens, good on him. That's an important role he plays and very under appriciated.

That's my whole point. All Donovan ever does is play hard and at a high tempo. What does he get for it? Diddled over.
Why? Ugly as a troll.
Not kidding.

Unless, right after that 3rd goal, Clouston said, 'don't go get in a fight, this game is going our way' -- that might explain it, but I find that implausible.
Did anyone even see Donovan on the bench in the 3rd? The Space Cadets on FS couldn't tell me a thing about what was going on over on the Sens' bench all night long, nevermind the game itself. I did learn, however, that football players also suffer concussions. With the aid of video footage. In the middle of a hockey game. Awesome.

My point is -- "really, you had to turn to a football analogy / example to understand / explain a concussion, you sorry excuse for a hockey announcer?"
Like, I think there have been other concussions in the history NHL that he could have used to the same effect. Possibly.
Those announcers had no clue what was going on in that game, none. Clueless.

Not.
