Such a huge difference from last season, and I credit it to one thing and one thing only: maturity. This team is so much more mature than previous seasons and it's showing in their game. No panic, no distress, just keep playing their game, keep playing the system they work on. It's so refreshing to see a team that has faith in each other to play their positions and play their roles.

Goaltending.

What a third period. I was worried. Didn't like that one-goal lead at all. Man, Price played pretty well or it could have been over a lot sooner. Refs tried to hand the game to the Habs in the first -- that hooking call on Cheechoo compared to all the hooking on the Sens players, wow.
The Sens PK is 2nd best in the league behind Columbus. The Jackets are unreal -- 1 goal allowed in 24 coming in and killed another 4 tonight.

I can't disagree. But you can't help but notice what I'm talking about. The guys just don't look flustered when things don't go their way. They just put their heads down and go to work, and keep working until they get the result they want. It's uncanny. It's like it's not even the same team at all from last season.

Yeah for sure. And for the first time in 1000 years we actually have 4 solid lines. It's so amazing to not have Ruutu and Kelly on the 3rd line. Makes it so much harder on other teams when that's line 4 rolling out at you.
Leclaire was great, love this right now.
PKC wrote:That's the beauty of how things are going right now. Our third and fourth lines aren't just a formality anymore, these guys are pinning other teams' lines deep in their own zones and just outworking them and outhustling guys.
