God bless Leclaire... he's the reason The Sens won tonight, simple as that.

A-Train with 6 blocked shots (double his per-game average). But Carkner had *eight*!

What a third period. I was worried. Didn't like that one-goal lead at all. Man, Price played pretty well or it could have been over a lot sooner. Refs tried to hand the game to the Habs in the first -- that hooking call on Cheechoo compared to all the hooking on the Sens players, wow.

The Sens PK is 2nd best in the league behind Columbus. The Jackets are unreal -- 1 goal allowed in 24 coming in and killed another 4 tonight.

Such a huge difference from last season, and I credit it to one thing and one thing only: maturity. This team is so much more mature than previous seasons and it's showing in their game. No panic, no distress, just keep playing their game, keep playing the system they work on. It's so refreshing to see a team that has faith in each other to play their positions and play their roles.

I can't disagree. But you can't help but notice what I'm talking about. The guys just don't look flustered when things don't go their way. They just put their heads down and go to work, and keep working until they get the result they want. It's uncanny. It's like it's not even the same team at all from last season.

How good is Carkner eh... doing everything that's asked of him and more. UNREAL.

Yeah for sure. And for the first time in 1000 years we actually have 4 solid lines. It's so amazing to not have Ruutu and Kelly on the 3rd line. Makes it so much harder on other teams when that's line 4 rolling out at you.

Leclaire was great, love this right now. Ahhhhh!

When you know, no matter how much you screw up or how flat you come out the puck isnt going to end up in the back of the net, you play differently. Maybe a little more mature but it's more mental then anything.

That's the beauty of how things are going right now. Our third and fourth lines aren't just a formality anymore, these guys are pinning other teams' lines deep in their own zones and just outworking them and outhustling guys.

By the way, who the Diddle made this Diddling ridiculous Diddling schedule? We don't play until Thursday again? FIVE DAYS OFF AT THE START OF THE SEASON?!?!?!?!

It's amazing, I love it. I love seeing the 4th line pinning guys in. Ruutu has been incredible this year as well - Kelly and Donovan too - but I like Ruutu's game a lot thus far.
