Our PK is 2nd in the league because of Leclaire, Philchenkov, Carkner, Michalek, Fisher, Alfie -- and only then, after those ones, do I go to Ruutu and Kelly.

When you're mentioned as being of A-Train calibre on the PK by the coaching staff you're pretty much a lock to stay on the roster. Really pleasantly surprised with Carkner. I don't think I can say that enough.

What I'm most impressed about is that he's so steady defensively but doesn't seem to hold this team back or make dumb plays offensively.
