No doubt in my mind Campoli should be the guy coming out for Kuba, he has given no reason to stay in the lineup.

Let's take out Picard first, then we'll have to deal with Campoli if this keeps up.

Take out the teams most productive D man?

Carkner and Picard have been really good together and as a pair have what, 5 point in their last 3 games while shutting down the other teams 2nd and 3rd lines. Oh, they are both on the PK as well and doing a good job.

Campoli has been garbage and should ride the pine, Picard doesnt deserve to come out.

I really feel as if there are vacuums that suck less than Picard. I see defensive issues, he can make some passes and he has a nice shot, but he's so easily moved off the puck in the defensive zone it makes me cringe.

Not a fan - yet. But whatever's best for the team...I'm sure Clouston would know.

Carkner is there to pick up for Picard's gaffe's as the defensive aspect is the best part of his game, plus he is tough as nails, their game types complement each others very well.

Dont have to be fan to see how badly Campoli is playing and how bad defensivly he is... he's worse then Picard.

Like I said Picard hasnt done anything to get scratched from the lineup, especially with Campoli playing like he has... does he even have a point yet?

Campoli is playing like arse. I'm shocked, but Picard has sucked as well - despite his points.

Dont see how he has sucked with Carkner. It's working with those two and working very well, leave it alone.

Campoli doesnt deserve to stay in the lineup at this point, Picard does.

Even if you think Picard has sucked what has Campoli done? He doesnt even have a point, so what's the point of keeping a small "offensive" defenseman in there?

Picard is horrible, the stats lie. Campoli has been equally brutal in all but one game. I don't care which one comes out for Kuba, in fact I would prefer Kuba and Lee replace both Picard and Campoli right now. I can live with Karlsson's rookie mistakes if the other two dickheads are out of the lineup. I really can't believe we have Dmen so bad that I want Lee back in the lineup. Crap on Picard all you want but the pairing with Carkner and Picard is working and the team is getting offense from them as well as a good amount of PK time. That pairing is good 5/6 right now.

No need to mess with what's working as opposed to Campoli, that's all I'm saying. Stick with what works.

I know Campoli has sucked badly, but I'd still rather have him than Picard. He was good last year, is having a horrendous year thus far, but don't forget that it works both ways, he's paired with a rookie who's learning the ropes.

Campoli came into a situation where there was zero pressure, a real spot for him on the team, so on... he played in NYI with no pressure at all as well. There are actually expactations for him right now and he has been balls.

Again, I'm not looking at the individual, I'm looking at the pairing that is working and what benifits the team, that's Picard/Carkner.

Actually, I haven't even noticed Picard that much. Campoli on the other hand; I'm sure I will owe him my first heart attack. As you state, maybe I haven't noticed Picard being so bad because Carkner has been there to make up for his defensive flaws whereas Campoli has nobody to help him in that regard because let's face it, karlsson is far from being a shutdown defenceman. That's of course well in line with expectations but I still don't understand why two "novice" offensive d-men are paired together. That seems to me like a recipe for disaster.

I hope it works out...I really do. My fingers are crossed big time. *sigh*...in a few years we'll look back and laugh over how bad our D was today.

I really don't see what the fuss is all about.  We lost 4-1 and aside from Karlsson's turnover at our blue line, none of the Dung D being discussed here made mistakes that resulted in goals.  Even a steller D couldn't have done much against those crazy bounces.  You can't expect perfection from your 5th/6th D-men.  Once Kuba comes back, we'll be fine.

Think about it, is he any worse than Campoli in those aspects? The answer is a resounding NO! And offensively, Campoli hasn't been doing anything at all. Why the hate-on for Picard?
