the puck hit birons stick and bounced in between his legs but they wanted to make sure it crossed the line but the ref had called it a goal and there was not any evidence to say it didnt cross the line

maybe it is just me being a sens fan and seeing things that aren't there but it seems like each game leclaire is getting better positionally and he is controlling his rebounds better as well

WOOT!!! Gamecenter is back. I tried it in Firefox and it's working. I'm starting to think my IE is bugged.

Whatever... Okposo undressed Volchenkov there.

Michalek looks awesome though. Chemistry is not there yet, but he battles more than any forward out there.

Spezza could've stopped that play 2 seperate times, most notably the 2nd time as Okposo was falling down. Sorry but thats exactly why Spezza is a waste of 7M and its exactly why I don't want him on my team. He has a demoralizing presence, yet he tries to pass himself off as this team first guy GAME DAY: New York Islanders @ Ottawa Senators - 7:00pm ET - Thu. Oct. 8th, 2009 - Page 10 Icon_rolleyes

Just like Heatley, I don't care what he does offensively. We'd be a better team without him.

spezza has been pretty good defensively the last two games he is trying and learning he is not going to become a alfredsson light overnight give him some time

All players should continue playing until they hear a whistle. Besides, the Isles regained possession.

Thats pretty much it. The only people the Isles should be pissed at are themselves.

Is anyone else starting to get worried about the way we're getting goals? 5 on the season:

1) Redden decides not to backcheck, assuming an icing, leaving Alfie with about 3 seconds of seperation in front of the net.
2) Regin with 5 seconds left in a game that was over.
3) Donovan with a highstick, blown call.
4) Alfie gets to take someone elses penalty shot on a rookie goalie.
5) this.

I like finally getting some bounces, but at some point they're going to have to start earning these things.

Actually the team getting all these breaks will motivate the Sens and kinda give them a free boost of confidence. They always felt that they were unlucky and most of the time gave up anyways, and the way I see it they're not really sitting back and waiting for these lucky bounces they are working hard

Thats not the point (although its valid). We're only scoring on Dung teams via these fluke goals. Thats a problem, no matter what way you slice it. Its definite cause for concern.

If we're lucky, its just growing pains, as this team comes together and gets used to each other. If we're not, then its going to be a big problem.
