Well the game isnt a sellout, tickets are fairly cheep for an Atlanta game. Me and my buddies usually just get a coke zone ticket or a standing room if those are gone, stnad and center us up top and get pickled.

I NEVER sit in the 100's because I dont enjoy the game as much as I do up top. Those are truly the best seats in the house and cheapest. Just go to the game and have a good night out if ya can. Great excuse to this week!

I believe the Atlanta game is one of three weekend games you can get cheap tickets from Metro. 4 tickets plus vouchers for hot dog/drink for $100, IIRC. If I didn't just have to shell out $150 for my kid's peewee "C" team to do a couple of tournaments I'd be considering it.

With all the money you spend on registration, summer skating camp, buying the equipment (to say nothing of how much of my residential taxes is going to rink maintenance), they still give us used team jerseys and require the parents to pitch in so the team has a budget for tournaments. No wonder soccer is growing in the city.

Consider yourself lucky it's just peewee "C" hockey in comparisson with some other kids. It's criminal.

AAA is just unreal, I actually have no idea how my parents paid for it and have just realized in the last few years just how much time and money they invested. Hockey parents are easily the most dedicated parents in any sport. My rents are still in debt from it 10 years later.

Oh, I know! I did a little happy dance when it was confirmed he was going to C (not that there was much chance of him heading higher -- it's his first year playing). My brother in law at one point had all four (3 boys and a girl) in competitive. Ouch, the time and money!
