Let's hope we don't pull a Kiprusoff on Leclaire and play him for 76 games (assuming he plays real well this season which is looking likely).

I don't think so personally. 65 tops, maybe 70, but that's too much when you have a legitimately talented backup who the coach knows very well and loves.

I think 65 is overly optimistic. Even if he doesn't get injured, he has not been through the grind of a regular season in a while.

Clouston says he will start Elliott in a game within the next 2 or 3 games.

cloverleaf may be a bit trollish in his approach, but he does raise a good point. It has not been determined yet if Leclaire has lost his brittleness.

I'd say it would be more likely that Leclaire gets 55ish and Elliott the other 27

Murray and Clouston have stated that they expect about 60 games out of Leclaire.

Saturday night vs. Atlanta will be the game. Leclaire gets the home opener, and I can't see Elliot getting his first start against Pittsburgh.
