Duh! I didn't even think of that. Still though, why not put Shannon there?

WTF? Poopy.
Donovan was clearly just filling in for Fisher, who was nursing a few 'bumps and bruises' (already). That will never be a real line in the regular season. You gotta love the guy, but Donovan is a bottom 6 player, through and through.

Yup. Skates fast, hits hard, scores little. Nothing like Fisher.

I see your man-crush on Fisher is fading.

Apparently, he's seduced CheapShots Brennan. I'm not gonna be his fool.

The importance of that line clicking (Foligno - Shannon - Cheechoo I think?) takes front stage right now -especially in the last practices before the real thing. That would be my thought anyway. Not sure why Neil isn't there and Dono on line 4, but it might still be about chemistry.
SpezDispenser wrote:Man Rooney, you said it. Options are really nice to have - especially after a couple of years where there really weren't many. I've loved that little monkey Shannon since the first shift he took - and even after that tool concussed him. Talk about a guy who brings it with speed every night. I love it.

Kovalev-Spezza-Fisher
Michalek-Regin-Alfredsson
Personally, I like that setup a lot.

I predict that any line with Fisher on it will have run its course long before a line with Michalek.

People suffer this problem as much as machines, I see.

I'm supposed to agree that Michalek should be busted down to the second line while Fisher moves up to the first? Will do.

Two danglers / puck-handlers who are not particularly strong defensively, together on one line? I dunno. Maybe it's just me, but I think you keep two apart, 5-on-5.
