I think it was 3-2 Boston in a shootout but I could be wrong.

2-1 Boston in SO.

Wow, what a grinding game that was. Impressive.

Yeah, I have a feeling. But if Cheechoo gets going, it's all good.

I'd take that, it's not about the win but the individual playes at this point, Cheechoo needs to get on the board.

It'll prolly take the Sens a week or two into the season to really get going.

True... true... if Cheechoo can get going... we'll all be better for it in the long run.

The Lee Karlsson duo is a little scary I must say.

is that because of Lee's ineffectiveness? Karlsson can make him look good by not giving Lee the puck.

I'm calling a 5-0 (ok maybe 5-1) Sens victory. The goal will come because the sens left with a min remaining to catch the new Law and Order season premiere Smile

Law and Order is still on? WTF??? Isn't that like season 45 now?

If it is older than THe young and the restless then it's possible.

My brother in law just offered me tickets to tonight's game. Level-200, one row from the "balcony". I've got to let him know in 20 minutes, and my wife's not home yet. And she doesn't have the cell phone. And OC Transpo can be notoriously slow on game nights. GAME DAY: Preseason - Boston @ Ottawa - 7:00pm ET - Fri. Game coverage:
- TV: TSN2 (HD),NHLN-US (HD)
- Radio: Team 1200 (need to confirm)
- Web: http://www.atdhe.net/

Quick point of clarification: atdhe.net -- reliable source with a good track record who is almost for-sure to air the game, or iffy source with a spotty record who might, maybe, perhaps air the game?

Cheers!

I'll be at the game tonight, so I won't have to deal with horrible Internet feeds or crapy Rogers 22 coverage. Can't wait to see Regin and Karlsson in live action!
Why aren't any of you guys watching it on TSN2?

'Cause I figure $62 a month -- that's $30 for basic cable + $30 for the
Sports Package (with Centre Ice) + $2 for the NHL Network -- is probably enough money to
pay for hockey channels without having to spend yet another $30 / month
to "upgrade" to VIP just to get TSN2.

Why TSN2 is not part of the Sports Package is beyond me.

Is Rogers carrying TSN2 now? Free?
They are carrying it, but it's not free.

I got it free with my Super Sports Pak.

Really? The $30 a month thing that gets you NHL CI + a bunch of other crap (like football, basketball, and minor league hockey)?

Please, please, please!

I haven't ordered the Sports Pack yet -- that's next week -- but if TSN2 is part of the deal, I might as well order it now...

No, it's being blacked out in Canada (because of the TSN2 broadcast). Yes, it's stupid, I know. Smile

SensGirl11 wrote:What's with all the 'lower body injuries'?

Groin injuries, usually -- the pre-season / early season injury of choice. Practice and workout all you want, it's still really hard to get some body parts ready for the rigours of a live game. It's totally common to see these types of injuries right now.

And bizarre. They're both right-handed.

We've seen to death what Phillips and Volchenkov can do. Do they really need to get used to playing with each-other? I would have checked out some other pairing possibilities.
