Jabbing? Lucic whacked Neil in the nuts.
Absolutely, his knees buckled... I gotta lay down just thinking about it.

Yeah, Lucic is a dirtya$$ SOB...tried to neuter Neil...so no wonder that the refs stood back at let 'em go at it. Neil is gonna want a piece of Lucic all season long.
BTW Carkner was good and mean last night. Keep him in on board.
N4L wrote:Dave, right there, what you just said is why you want Neil on your team. Fighting Lucic takes the guy off the ice for 5 plus mins for a guy who plays on your 4th line, not a bad trade off.
What does that allow The Sens to do? They can be more agressive, they can move the puck a lot easier without the fear of a nasty forecheck coming in, and they dont have to worry about moving that guy from in front of the net, Hopefully Neil can stand his own 5 or 6 times this year.

The shot to the nads could have been called a spear. All Neil had to do was double over. I've seen similar plays called exactly that way.
Pushing and shoving and jockeying for position is one thing, but that could have easily been two extra minutes.

Prager>you know Neil would NEVER 'double over' to draw a penalty.
Chris Neil is not a girly man.

Unlike *some* Senators.

What goes on at these "team-building" retreats? Do they take the La BĂȘte Humaine approach and have players get blackmail on each-other?
