TSN2 is "free" with VIP, that's what I know. But the HD version is another $9/month (unless it's gone up again). That $9 gets you TSN/TSN2-HD, all the US-West coast HD feeds, and a few other (HD channels (the ones that you scratch your head, wondering why anyone would want them).

You get stuff like Showcase-HD and a few others, but until they actually have HD content to show, it's a marginal improvement over the SD version of the same.

Dammit I want everything HD and I don't want to pay extra for it -- I already spent over two grand on the TV plus the rental on the HD box (well, I get mine free, but usually you have to pay). HD content should not be any more expensive -- it's available from the providers (and eventually it will *all* be HD), the b/w required to carry it can't be any more that what analog SD channels require (and I don't remember having to pay a digital services fee on a per-channel or channel-group basis). I've paid for the equipment, now give me the damn service at no additional cost.

You get TSN2HD included if you subscribe to TSN as well as the HDTV Specialty Theme Pack.

You never know...

Senators coach Cory Clouston says Alfredsson, who has been skating on a line with Milan Michalek and Jason Spezza during training camp, looks as good as ever.

“He’s got a smile on his face, he’s practising well,” said Clouston. “And you’re only as old as your body is and I think he’s in as good of shape as he has been in a long time.” Very good news, considering we can play him for less minutes and keep his energy levels high.

G Pascal Leclaire will play the entire game tonight. “I’m very happy with him. Physically he’s where we need him to be and mentally he’s very close,” said Clouston. “We’ll give him this one more game and he should be really sharp. He’s got an ability to have a calming presence, he’s got a great personality for the position that he plays. He’s a little bit looser than other goalies and he’s a little bit quirky at times, but I think he’s really good for the dressing room.” ... We can only hope that he stays healthy, we should be golden if he does.

Agreed... this should be a good test for them. Let's put it all together tonight.

Game time is coming quick. I'm excited to go to this game. It'll be my second pre-season game of the year and I'm in Row B 100 level on the corner. 1 hour and 20 minutes and I'm off for the day! It's the weekend and then it's time to go to the game after that.
