Maybe he's worried about his job lol.

I would be if i were him. I bet he regrets sulking through most of last season. GAME DAY: Preseason - Boston @ Ottawa - 7:00pm ET - Fri. Sep. 25th, 2009--PLUS afterthoughts... - Page 10 68747

Most of that most was in the penalty box IIRC.

Sens are ahead in shots 19-11.

Leclaire is looking very sold.

It's only pre-season, but this is so much more enjoyable to watch than the product we saw last season. GAME DAY: Preseason - Boston @ Ottawa - 7:00pm ET - Fri. Sep. 25th, 2009--PLUS afterthoughts... - Page 10 Icon_cool

And I don't have to wait to see #s 19 or 11 on the ice for offence to be created.

That alone should make this season bearable. If all the pieces fall into place we could challenge for home ice I think (I still think we won't be catching the Bruins.)

Well, I think whoever finishes second in the Atlantic should walk away with the fourth seed. But IMO we'll definitely be pushing for 5th, 6th place. This team looks too strong offensively and Leclaire/Elliott is one of the best tandem's we've had in a while.

Oh probably. I was thinking more in terms of best case. Realistically, everything won't line up right. It's nice to have something to be positive about after suffering last year through the B.C.E. (Before Clouston Era).

Haha, I wrestled with nicknames for a while.

"Karlie" isn't as good as "Alfie" though. GAME DAY: Preseason - Boston @ Ottawa - 7:00pm ET - Fri. Sep. 25th, 2009--PLUS afterthoughts... - Page 10 668437
I just stick with Karlsson.

Sorry, back when I was little (in Russia) there was this popular cartoon, called "Karlsson on the Roof" (another character from Astrid Lindgren -- of Pipi Longstocking fame). Unfortunately, "Karlsson" looked like this:

I am not making this up. That little guy could fly -- a fitting description for #65 as well. He literally had a little propeller on his back (you can barely see it in the picture above).

On the other hand, not so smart of a move by Fata, who's got next to no shot to make the Bruins, to negate the PP by taking a retaliation penalty.

I'm not complaining the Sens are playing good but seriously that last 2 shifts we shouldve scored at least 2 goals

A lot of players are looking good but I think Jason Spezza is the most improved Senator from the end of last season.
