Odd. I guess that means he said "nyet" to the KHL.

quick question...got my fantasy hockey draft tonight and I'm wondering if I should consider Artem Anisimov in the later rounds. What you guys think?
I just don't see a soft Russian getting much playing time with a coach like Torts. Then again, he is a center on a team that's weak down the middle.

Anyways, any info here is appreciated. Feel free to throw out some other sleepers.

Average projection is 34 points, with a high of 41 (The Score) and 40 (TSN). Calder candidate.

TJ Oshie will absolutly tear it up this year. Go with him, 60 points are a coming.

There are a few guys like Statsny, Patrice Bergeron, Brad Richards and Brenden Morrow who might be forgotten since they missed significant time last year with injuries.

Derick Brassard for Columbus is another one. Then there is youth that had sophomore slumps last year but should bounce back, like Sam Gagner, who picked it up big time near the end of the season. Also Peter Mueller should have a better season this year. And even someone like Matthew Lombardi, who plays in every situation in Phoenix and is technically their number 1 centre.

Washington young guy, amazing in the AHL, but has yet to get a good chance in the NHL. Nice pick up - if they can use him properly.

He's a big guy. I think the idea that Russians are soft is getting de-bunked a little as well.

81 points in the AHL last season. I'd take him in the later rounds, personally.

I could root for the Yotes because they finally decided it was time to get a real coach - and they got one of the best in the business.

just before reading this from you Bass I went and grabbed Mueller in the espn hockey pool that some other GM hockey members are in on, hoping for 60 plus points from him.
