I'm not sure how that all works... that would make more sense I guess.Cap'n Clutch wrote:Isn't it up to the team to decide how many games they play in pre-season with the minimum being 6 I believe. I think the Sens only wanted 6 games but I could be wrong.
Nice job by Clouston on The Fan 590... toting the team line and staying the course. No one player is above the team and what's best for the team is what gets done. Not a bad word to say about Heatley, he was just disappointed by how it all went down and that they didn't really get a chance to work things out and address his concerns before his mind was made up. He had a great line about walking a mile in a man's shoes before passing judgment on him. He's excited about this season and the depth they now have at forward and in goal all the way down to Bingo.shabbs wrote:Coach Clouston joins Hockey Central on The FAN at 12:25 pm with Mike Brophy and Daren Millard.
If you want to catch it - watch it on Sportsnet or listen in on The Fan 590's web site:

Not sure if this Gretzky news will bump him back.

Clouston has the team turned around and hopefully a guy like Spezza has 100% bought into the team game as well. (I think he has by the looks of the pre season).

I think he has and with his play clouston has shown him some faith by playing him with michalek on the pk a bit. I would not be surprised to hear spezza named an Assistant captain when cory finaly does announce them
