Gaborik with his 20th and 21st. I doubt I'll ever get over that feeling of having that ridiculous goal scorer on the team. Here's to hoping we can farm (or buy one) soon.

Apparently Vokoun was alert and responsive when he was carried off. The bleeding in his ear was from ear lacerations, which is a good thing (relatively speaking).

I can't believe what I just saw. That was pure insanity!!

I have to say that Ovechkin injury is scary just with the sight of both players lying in the ice in obviously insane amount of pain. But Ovie had it coming, he's been crossing the line alot lately

I however don't want to hear Cherry gloating about how he always said Ovechkin would get hurt because of his antics

He's got enough talent to be a constant threat to score 50 goals and 100 points. Too bad he's injured so often.

Ridiculous, what Ballard did. I mean, it's not like Vokoun meant to let that one in. Geez, man, talk about it after the game when you've had a chance to cool off.

Now, seriously, when something like that happens, what if it happened when play was still on, is that not dangerous use of the stick? Will the NHL ever suspend a player for hurting a team mate?

As for Ovechkin, Cherry can't say anything because this was not someone letting him have it. Ovechkin should still "have it coming", even more so, after this one. So this is his second major+game isn't it? Is a suspension on the way?
