queue the pizza pizza promotion again if we have this much scoring talent, does pizza pizza even do that anymore?

The worst thing the Sens could do is rush Karlsson into the NHL. I wouldn't be upset if they sent him to Bingo for a bit of seasoning. More time to bulk up before he gets forechecked by 220 pound players who skate faster than scram jets.

I agree as well. He's lethal on PPs, so he's already starting his career there, but there are a tonne of other things to learn and get comfortable. He'll be good here under Clouston, but as you say, is it rushing? And do we have room?

Does it matter? The box has more flavour than the pie it carries Game Day, Pre-Season Edition Sept 16, 09 Florida @ Ottawa - Page 8 68747

I think they do and if I remember correctly didn't they move it back to 5 goals again?

I honestly believe he will - presuming he stays healthy

ouch they might regret that one with this line up, the Sens will be lighting up teams that don't match them talent wise or physical wise.

What I read into it is a lot like what I read into Foligno on Spezza's wing. Murray has stated multiple times that he envisions Michalek on the 1st line. AS a result, I fully expect Foligno to be a 3rd liner, at least to start the year. Likewise, Campoli is the most likely partner for Kuba and I'm pretty sure they're going to make Karlsson work his way up the ranks. Its not a good idea to treat him like the golden boy and have his competing teammates (Picard, Lee, and, for now, Schubert) feel as though they're getting a poor shake. You don't want him being resented for his skill, upside, and future.

hey I am allowed to be overly optimistic, we finally have secondary scoring, do you know how monumental this is? Game Day, Pre-Season Edition Sept 16, 09 Florida @ Ottawa - Page 8 668437

I do, I really do. It feels like 03-04 or whenever it was where we had Hossa and an emerging Havlat. Not just the CASH line.

I would read something into that, yes. I know people around here are hell bent on Karlsson being an NHLer this year, but I certainly wouldn't call it a slam dunk yet.

The worst thing the Sens could do is rush Karlsson into the NHL. I wouldn't be upset if they sent him to Bingo for a bit of seasoning. More time to bulk up before he gets forechecked by 220 pound players who skate faster than scram jets.

How is the AHL going to be any different in that aspect?

We also have some size with Kovalev and Michalek.

and I believe that year there were a couple of occasions were the sens scored 10 in a game and Heatley/Havlat each scored 4. I believe that was the same year of dominance over the Leafs, games like 8-0, 7-0, 8-2, those were great memories.

Diddling right. Against Buffalo twice I think? Havlat, then Heatbag.

Those were good times eh? Hossa, Havlat, Alfie. Weren't they all the same wing?
