When Cheechoo scores they should have the Via rail train sound stop half way through with a whistle that sounds like CHEEEE CHOOOOOO chuga chuga chug chuga CHEEE CHOOOO and then finish off with the regular train sound.

On another note - I edited the GDT to include the real Sens slogan this year (thanks to N4L for this)

Milan Milchalek arrived in Ottawa late last night and skated for the first time on Wednesday. His arrival means Cory Clouston can finally start to have a look at his full roster and start to figure out line combinations. Jonathan Cheechoo and Alex Kovalev will make their preseason debuts tonight playing on a line with Mike Fisher. Brian Elliott will start in goal tonight and split duties with Mike Brodeur. - TSN

Im pretty excited to see the Fisher line in action. If Cheech can revitalize his career and the line stays intact, Fisher could hit 60 or 70 points.

I wonder why Karlsson isn't paired with Kuba in the top 4? Should I read anything into that I wonder?

Maybe they're giving Kudelka a chance to show his stuff. Or perhaps they want to see what Karlsson can do before pairing him with a solid vet.

I would read something into that, yes. I know people around here are hell bent on Karlsson being an NHLer this year, but I certainly wouldn't call it a slam dunk yet.

The worst thing the Sens could do is rush Karlsson into the NHL. I wouldn't be upset if they sent him to Bingo for a bit of seasoning. More time to bulk up before he gets forechecked by 220 pound players who skate faster than scram jets.

I agree as well. He's lethal on PPs, so he's already starting his career there, but there are a tonne of other things to learn and get comfortable. He'll be good here under Clouston, but as you say, is it rushing? And do we have room?
