Appriciate all the effort you're putting in to get this going, but it will be a waste if the rosters are as big as they are. You can make it easy on yourself and everyone else if this draft is actually lowered to 11 rounds. Ill play along no matter what because quitting is gutless, but if we are 2 weeks into the season and still drafting (which we are on pace for and beyond) then it will be totally pointless and this will have been a waste of everyones time, especially yours.

i have to say this is something we could start only in October, after training camps. Also, we could advertise ahead of time, and get a larger list of also non-sim participants ...

15 rounds precited to finish october 24th at current pace.

It's not your fault its going so slow, but if you can avoid this dragging on 3 weeks after the regular season, then do it.

Not everyone is going to have the time to make a list for every round. I will also be shocked if some people even knew who they were picking come round 14, 15.

People will know soon. I'll make sure he gets the option to mass PM. It won't be hard to have this done well before opening night.

1 round a day once the PMs are in place. More would be nice, but unlikely given everyone's schedule.

I guess a chat room thing is out of the question due to people's schedules?

As much as Neely can get under our skins, he makes good points.

However, If this mass Pm thing can get going, thats great. if you dont get your pick in by two days, you draft the highest scoring player from last year not picked yet.

Exactly. Not everyone does know as much as I do. Not everyone follows The Trashers, Panthers, Yotes, Kings, so on and on, and on.

Some people are actually casual fans and dont play the sport or watch it as much as I do. Go figure eh... just because Im absolutly obsessed with the sport doesnt mean everyone else is. Tough to figure that out champ or are you just pretending to be as ignorant as you possibly can?

Back to the land of humble people.

Tuk Tuk, the rules were clear. You have to remember, that people will login in mass when the season gets closer. The current pace will not stay the same.

This pool isn't for money, it is for fun. When it comes time to picking my 8th and 9th forwards, I will probably pick guys I want to watch, not necessarily who I think will get the most points. It won't be hard for me to pick Ryan Shannon because I want to see him succeed or Milan Lucic because I love watching him crush people. It is all about favorites when it gets down to those picks and that is what makes it fun, watching those guys play on your team.

Even though I'd rather have 9 forwards, I see no problem with 6. Less than 2 goalies isn't fun though. Yes this is going slow, but it's summer and people obviously are busy either with their work or kids or whatever summer activities they have. This isn't about people making others wait out of disrespect, not everyone can sign as frequently. We still have tons of time left before the season starts, and things should pick up as we go and people are less busy.
