$825,000 is my guess.
My other guess is that he has a career year.

This signing is now an E5. We should be seeing something official soon.

So how bad was that Carolina/Ottawa trade now? They have 1 player left from that deal, who didnt want to be in Ottawa for all those Murray bashers out there.

CapGeek.com has it as $500K, one-way. They've been wrong before, but this one sounds about right. This is a contract he gets to earn his next one.

He has it in dark grey which means he's making a guess.

Ah, I only saw it was not orange (for two-way). Didn't realize there were more color codes.

Not at all surprised to see someone give Eaves one more chance. I said just that when he was traded, placed on waivers, and bought out. If it's a one-way deal, and if he can manage to put together a healthy season, this could be the Dan Cleary story of 2009-10 right here. With all the vacancies in DET, there's lots of room for someone like Eaves to step into a scoring role.

I've always been a fan of his. His role was starting to diminish in Ottawa though but that didn't mean he was a bad player at all. I hated Boston for what they did to him and I'm glad he went to an even better team. Good luck Patty
