Just heard it on NHL Live. The Rangers had until noon today to decide and they did.

Eklund is asking his members if the Rangers should walk away from Zherdev, as of 12.17pm.

He was probably on a connecting flight to an NHL city to meet a GM.

I spent one winter in Edmonton, it lasted 10 years. Freaking windy and cold. What an ugly city.
