If only he was having the kind of season that Kovalev was, he'd be able to go to the Popularity All-Star Game. Err...wait. NM

Actually, I have no real respect for the All-Star game and so I'm kind of happy that Kovalev is in. He's a tremendous talent and a joy to watch (when he wants to be), so he'll probably put on a show.

Komisarek was a terrible choice though. I like him as a defenceman, but I wouldn't put Volchie in the All-Star game either. It's just awkward. And I don't want tell Volchie not to try to destroy every bone in his opponent's body.

Pretty much sums up my feelings. I don't think it should be All-Stars when clearly it's popularity (the starters anyway).

Komisarek is a joke of a pick, and I am having a hard time with Price being the starter there as well. I wasn't watching it anyway though.

I thought it was at the start of the season. Not for me personally but, New Jersey's D was getting weaker and weaker over the past few seasons and analysts point to that as being a possible downfall every year but they still manage to be top 4. What's amazing is they're doing it with Clemenson in the net. Another knock on NJ was they didn't have enough Offensive talent but they've sure addressed that this season.

Well, Kouleas never believed in the Devils, so I'm going to go ahead and say: yes.

Sure. It was a heavily (somewhat) debated topic around here.

Shanahan, Holik and Rolston on 4th line...

If that's not a top team, I don't know what is.

What? Why are those 3 on the 4th line?

That's what I saw last night anyway. Not sure if they had 1-2-3-4 lines, but they sure didn't have much ice time. Probably to get Shanny back into the groove. Now that he scored a goal on his 1st game, I guess their ice time will grow frequently.

Good Lord, that's a ridiculous 4th line. How do you defend that?
