He didn't have anything more to add that's not already been said. He was just as surprised and he and Berger did have a laugh about Burke's comments yesterday considering the Pronger situation a few years ago.

Dean did say to not count out Heatley being in a Sens jersey next year though... if the right deal can't be made... Murray will expect him to play.

yeah not sold on Gaborik either, rather let the young guns build from within if there are no appealing UFA's that play like Lucic say, that is what this team is missing, we need players that are hard to play against, not softies.

How much of Heatley's money do you think we'll have left? If we're taking back $4-$5M in salary, that would leave us with $3.5-$2.5M of cap relief.

Fair enough, but if we're taking 4-5 million back, who are we getting? I assume a sexy top 6, so we only need to trade Kelly or Smith (not my preference anymore) and sign Gionta.
