Play 19 innings, fly across the continent, face a white-hot pitcher. Positives: at least the flight is our West, so they gain 3 hours; and that hot streak the pitcher is on will end, eventually, might as well be tonight.

First...the Royals will have to contend with 4 other teams to make the 2nd wildcard. Second, they went on a 10 game winning streak which inevitably leads to a big slow down when it gets broken. Third, they won a championship in 85, while the Jays won TWO championships in 92 and 93 - so...there's absolutely nothing the Royals or basically anyone in baseball should be saying about the Jays.
We'll see what happens when EE, Lind and Lawrie all return. Those are like making big time deadline trades.
I am Japaneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!!!!!!Ev wrote:hey if Moonanorri Kawasaki can play in the big leagues, than Lawrie can too. Makes him look like A-Rod.
Is he a classic Fisher type? Good in the community and all that...NEELY wrote:And Ev is right, Lawrie is the most overrated player in major league baseball. If his hitting was 1/2 as solid as his defense he might be an every day major leaguer... he is on the Jays tho.
