Play 19 innings, fly across the continent, face a white-hot pitcher. Positives: at least the flight is our West, so they gain 3 hours; and that hot streak the pitcher is on will end, eventually, might as well be tonight.

After the Royals make the playoffs this season Toronto will officially be the least successful franchise in baseball over the last 20 years, lol

Laughing3  First...the Royals will have to contend with 4 other teams to make the 2nd wildcard. Second, they went on a 10 game winning streak which inevitably leads to a big slow down when it gets broken. Third, they won a championship in 85, while the Jays won TWO championships in 92 and 93 - so...there's absolutely nothing the Royals or basically anyone in baseball should be saying about the Jays.

We'll see what happens when EE, Lind and Lawrie all return. Those are like making big time deadline trades.

The Royals aren't even in the Wild Care race right now. They are leading their division.

Lawrie is awful, I wouldn't even put him when he comes back. Lind, I might be hesitant as well even though he is having a good year.

He's an upgrade on Fransisco and Lind is another nice bat with good power. They all matter.

Lawrie is the glue that binds the mystery that is wrapped around the conundrum that is inside the quagmire that is the Jays psyche...

And Ev is right, Lawrie is the most overrated player in major league baseball. If his hitting was 1/2 as solid as his defense he might be an every day major leaguer... he is on the Jays tho.

Don't know anything about him other than he is an average player at best.
