So take last year away and it's what? 41-52. Yah, those are the wins and loses of a "great" pitcher.

Facepalm Do you even read what I post? I mean...I took the time to specifically address his won/lost record and I feel I wasted my time.

He had one great season, a couple decent ones, then others (the majority) where he just bounced up and down from the minors. You addressed his win loss record aka a list of excuses.

You get way too involved with the on paper things. Baseball doesn't seem to be that different than hockey.

They'd be in 1st if they had Terry Francona managing, IMO. Too bad.

Okay, now that's a fair comment. I wondered why he was passed over as well.

Doesn't matter right now though, we're 8 games into a 162 game schedule. If they're gonna slump, now is the time. If they need to find their identities, now's the time.

The thing about Gibbons is that he's really a player's manager - and with the amount of professional players they now have in the lineup, the need for a strategic manager is probably reduced by a lot.

I'd like Gibbons to call more steals though. Reyes should never be sitting on first for any length of time.

Jays just had a walk followed by a couple of hits, but failed to score in the inning. Harhar.

This rotation is soooooooooo good... on paper based on last years starters #'s and the rest of the rotations #'s from the seasons before.

Pitching wins games... best pitcher in their rotation is Morrow and people will find that out rather quickly.

Jays have lost all three series to start the season. 3-6.

At least they're not the Miami Marlins...
