and there will be the Storm Squad, which is a really good reason to be rooting for the Canes to proceed into the next round :drooling:

oh yeah actually me too, game 7's are the best, wish every series went 7, nothing beats the intensity/excitement of a game 7, especially if there is OT or multiple OT's.

Ok...I'll go ahead and say the B's will win. As much as I don't want that to happen, I think it might.

Come on Canes! Put 'em AWAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

Is this a must win...for Carolina?

EDIT: I see Brind'Amour answered that.

i wouldnt say a must win for the canes but would definitely make things easier on them and give them an extra day of rest

But with the Bruins having beaten them twice in a row, and going back to Boston, do you think the Canes would have a good shot at winning?

momentum is such a fragile thing in the playoffs i dont think losing twice in a row would make it impossible to win harder yes and would be easier to win at home tonight but canes have won 1 in boston and ward has shown he can step up in big games where we arent so sure how thomas would react in the same situation

Bruins at home in a game 7 would be very, very tough. Chara showed he can dominate Staal last night. In fact I think they might re-think their game plan and try to keep Staal away from Chara (and Boston would counter by playing the Big-Z 25-28 minutes). It will be really interesting to see what they will do.

If they lose tonight then they will most likely lose game 7. Tonight is a must win for both clubs. It'll be grrrrreat!

Crap, the game started already? 2-zip Boston very quickly. Oh, my.

boston is showing how much they really want to win tonight 2 goals in the first 5 minutes

They were ahead 9-4 in shots on goal, but ended up 11-11. Canes came on in the second half. Boston better not think they can sit on it.

Edit: Sorry, they ended up being outshot 11-9!

Geez, where is everyone? Searching the boards for posts expressing predictions that turned out wrong?

Canes have outshot them 12-0 since the Bruins were up 9-4 (actually, I think it was 7-4 when they had the 2-0 lead).
