Not really something he needed to say. We dont really need him in Ottawa either. We have a couple of Commodore's in our lineup.

Where does Commodore get his balls lately? Wow.

Good riddance, imagine we gave him Columbus money?? Ridiculous.

First article I've read in a long time where I actually hope he has a career-ending injury ASAP. bunghole.

I hope the Sens there him up tonigth and he finishes a nice -3. That would look good. Haha i would love to see Spezza or even the rookie Regin undressed him on a 1on1 and score.

Guy's leading the Ds in scoring and all of a sudden opens the big mouth.
Classic.

I'm just not sure what he's doing running his mouth about all these prominent NHL people. Wang is arguably the best coach in the league right now, and Murray's been around the league forever and is fairly well respected... What's he trying to prove? I don't remember Commodore ever being like this.. Maybe he's just not used to being out of some kind of spotlight (Calgary, Ottawa, Carolina when they were good).

I think you guys are being a bit hard on him. Sure it wasn't necessary, and im not condoning his actions, but he brought up some good points. our D was a mess the 2nd half of last year, and everybody knew it. he tried to do his best, but he wasnt given a clear answer on what to do.

and about the money, what was he supposed to do? say no? I'm, sure he would of signed here for less, but he wasnt even given an offer.

At 1.5 I would've been hard-pressed to justify re-signing this sloth. 3.75 is ripped all the time as one of the longest, dumbest contracts of the year. Yay, he had a good 1st half! That's not gonna compensate when he gets exposed by quick, hungry players in the playoffs.

Really. I'll say it again: bunghole.

He makes some valid points. Why you guys are defending the team is beyond me. He has first hand insight to the team's atmosphere and gives his honest opinion, and you turn on him? Don't get mad at him, take a look at the problems in the dressing room.

"I didn't play well. I was not a good player," Commodore said. "But when I go around the room and ask the other defensemen how we play in our own zone, and I get six different answers how am I supposed to fit in?

Doesn't sound like a team that knows what it's doing to me, does it? No communication at all, no unity or vision.

"I was excited when I first got there. I thought we were going to the (Stanley) Cup Finals. What they were trying to do, I had accomplished. And then they brought me in there during my unrestricted year and demoted me? That's more than a little tough to take."

He admitted to not playing his best, and he looked at the veterans and leaders in the room for advice and answers, and he did not get any. He is a veteran and leader himself and came to the team past the midway mark and was lost, and he gets insulted by being demoted, much like a few other players have seen when they came into this team.

"I'm struggling, the team's struggling, and Bryan's telling the media that I'm a player with no hands and no ability. Then they'd come to me and I'd have to spin it somehow, or try to laugh it off."

Was he ever known for his hands? I thought he was brought in for his experience, leadership, size and toughness. If Murray thought otherwise, he's clearly not paying attention. That's pretty low for a manager to do. If you have issues with a player, take it up with them privately. Don't throw them under the bus.

He actually sounded off a few months back to the Fan960 here in Calgary. He was being interviewed about his experience last year and his new contract and mentioned how bad things were in the locker room. He kept it tackful but didnt really hold back when asked questions by The Fan 960.

There's no reason for him to have said a Diddle word. Not one word. He picks now to say something? Diddle you Ginger. You sucked here, you owe us nothing, we owe you nothing. Diddle off.

It's the timing. Think about it. I recall, as Phoenix mentioned, the interview he did a while ago. Why would he talk about the Senators any other time? Because they are playing tonight.

You're getting mad at the wrong person(s) here.

I was more pissed off at that Dung "Shanny" for making fun of the team quite frankly.

Wow, who the frank cares what he thinks? He's obviously a tool. Silly, silly stuff. You're Mike Commodore not Jay Bouwmeester. Get over yourself.
