By the way, just read an article that says Schubert *will* be with Smith on the third pairing. Hartsburg must have read my post Smile

the Senators will change their
defensive pairings. Brendan Bell is going to play with Chris Phillips
while Anton Volchenkov is with Alex Picard. Christoph Schubert and
Jason Smith will be together.

"Philly and Volchie will play together during the game but we're going to start this way," said coach Craig Hartsburg.
I'm a little confused. Philchenkov split up to start the game but they will play together during the game? WTH?

Good Lord we should be down 10-2 right now - and it's not Auld that saved those 6 goals, it's the Flyers hitting posts or missing.

This team is just woeful. Wow.

Old man Smith is going to need these few games off after this game. 19 minutes logged thru 2 periods wow

the Sens are a split second slower in doing anything than every other team beside TB they've played this year. They look like a bunch of old timers being outdone by the young whipper snappers. Severely outclassed. How far we've fallen in a few years....

Literally, the only good players we have are Spezza, Heatley and Alfredsson. We have a few 'ok' players, like Phillips, Fisher, Vermette, but no team in the league can survive with only 3 great players.

Wow...and the Flyers have like 6 - on forward alone. Hartnell, Carter, Richards, Lupul, Gagne.

And our D...LOL...they're so funny.

man, we can't even win when Big Rig scores... f**K!

With A-train likely sidelined for a while, taking into account what Jammer said about how the Sens would regret moving Spezza, who else do we have that could bring us something?!? ANYTHING??!

Maybe we should just stay status quo and go for the lottery... Melnyk, I need some of those pharmaceuticals... I'm hurting here!! F**k, we ALL are!! Hook us up bro!!

Sens now on a new streak after 20-ish games with GOod D and 0 offense. NOw it's good offense with awful D.

Though I only caught this on radio, it sounds as though Volchenkov is truly as important to this team as Alfie. When he is not there, the team is lost.

Yes! I was nervous there when they tied it. Luckily they found a way to lose.

Another small step towards Hedman. Hopefully A-Train is ok.

C'mon...just stop watching the rest of the year and read about it in the mornings.
