Their management are pretty desperate to make the playoffs so I could see them mortgaging their future if things don't go quite to plan in an effort to make it to the post-season.

I'm pretty sure some people have Cussed up their picks. Namely Walter.

There's always a couple teams that are "surprises". People generally base their picks on how teams did the years before which isn't necessarily the best way to forecast this sort of thing, but it's one of the easiest ways. Most of my picks are teams that made it last year. Picking Vancouver over Nashville seems absolutely ludicrous, but stranger things have happened I guess.

I hadn't heard quick got broken. That does change things a little. I felt unsure about LA as well but somehow they always pull through.

Yes Vancouver has that line but very little else with any experience after that. Suter as a #2 center?I believe goaltending might be a big part of their undoing this year also. They of course could surprise as I'm sure most teams facing them will likely think the same as I. Kids have a tendency to fight harder but still. I have them finishing last.(or Columbus)

Y'know, the info he used to change his picks actually made his picks worse, so yeah, let's keep him around.

Ugh! I just had a look at colorado's line-up! Maybe I should have picked them for worst overall. They have one and a half good line and their top 4 is very debatable.

You can disqualify me for getting my picks in after the 7PM Oct. 12 deadline but not for changing my mind because of significant injury. If you want, replace VAN with LAK. I honestly don't think that a single change will be the difference between me winning and missing by a point. I mean, you *have* seen the rest of my picks, right?
