Apparently one of the Sedins may not be able to play for Team Sweden due to injury. I asked SteffeG if Z-Bad might get a look for a replacement, but he said it's more likely to be Marcus Johansson or Hornqvist.

According to the Score, it hasn't been decided yet and won't be until tomorrow.

Marcus Johansson will be H Sedin's replacement for Team Sweden, as SteffeG said yesterday.

I'm starting to think they'll go with Price down the stretch for these games. Luongo and Price will each get a start and then they'll settle on one.

Unless Price totally stinks it up in his first game, it should be Price that carries the load after Luongo gets his obligatory start. That said, I'm not comfortable with any of the three goalies. Price's playoff stats (GAA/Save %) are noticeably worse than his regular season stats. Luongo's stats are actually fairly consistent between playoffs/regular season. Mike Smith's stats are way better in the playoffs versus regular season.

By comparison, Corey Crawford's playoff stats are substantially better than his regular season stats. Anderson has better playoff stats than reg season...Lundqvist's are consistent, Rask's are consistent, Quick's stats are substantially better in the playoffs, Brodeur's stats are substantially better in the playoffs, Tim Thomas' stats are better in the playoffs....

One exception is MAF - his stats are worse in the playoffs...surprise surprise.

So Price and MAF are the only goalies I found in my brief search where their playoff stats are substantially worse than their regular season stats. If you compare playing in the Olympics to playing in the playoffs (higher pressure, higher level of competition?) then you should be worried.

Luongo should be the starter.

Goalies will have an easy time though on the big ice. They can see eveyrthing.
