Did I just hear on Team 1200 how long Luongo will be out? I haven't found updates anywhere but I thought I heard "...weeks". And I could have sworn I heard 8. I was just getting my ear-buds in when the reporter was finishing up a sentence. Can anyone confirm?

Sweet Lord I hope not. My Yahoo! team would be devastated. Especially with that pile of garbage people call Turco becoming the top goalie on my team...Diddle!

His incredible record in the minors this year speaks for itself, however, he will not be the No. 1 here until Sanford plays himself out of that spot. I think he is still at least a year from making an impact

I heard the report on the way home again. It's 3-5 weeks and apparently his agent posted this on his website.

Luongo left practice today after only 20 minutes and did not speak to reporters. Word is that he has suffered a set back in his attempt to return to the lineup this weekend.
