Cody Hodgson lighting it up

Good news for you Canuck fans (and Canadian hockey fans in general), Cody Hodgson recorded his second consecutive hat trick, plus one for good measure, tonight. He now has 7 goals in two straight games. He also added an assists tonight giving him a 5 point game. He is the first Brampton Battalion to record back-to-back hat tricks. It was unbelievable to witness him tear it up.

I hate predicting players, but he looks like our No. 1 center for years to come, really looking forward to seeing him contribute at the World Juniors.

This kids sounds like he's gonna be somethin' special for sure.

The best move in the organization this summer by Mike Gillis was without a doubt, the hiring of Dave Gagner as Director of Player Development. His skating machine was used extensively by Hodgson and other prospects all summer long, and it looks like it is starting to pay dividens.
