Nick Paul getting feisty in front of Lundquist. That's how you get playing time.

Nice job of Ceci tying up a Ranger stick on a centering pass. It's not rocket science.

Vintage EK chasing down a breakaway and disrupting Hayes. No shot.

I don't care if Chabot makes some mistakes defensively, he needs to play, too good not to be in the lineup almost every night. One of those guys that just has a knack of making good things happen.

Ceci with two goals in two nights. Trying to play his way out of town?

Personally I would be happy if Ceci would get to be he more offensive partner in his pairing and Dion be more defensive.

Ceci had a good first but a couple breakdowns in the second. Those breakdowns are more forgivable when you score.

Well everyone looked well pleased with winning tonight. From the players to the coach. Im sure it complicates Dorion’s Job a little but in a good way I guess.

What now? Who gets moved? Does this change things in terms of Boucher’s players roles?

I sincerely hope it changes the way he approaches the Ceci phaneuf pairing. I think he’s miscast Ceci. And phaneuf would be better served in a defensively focused role.

Anderson looked really relieved.

Boucher sat Burrows and they beat a hot team, on back to back night, coming home after a looong road trip. You'd think he stays with the winning lineup? Nah, Burrows will be right back in it on Saturday.

They should make a habit of sitting an overager in every game until they start winning on a regular basis. Burrows, Oduya, Phaneuf, Thompson, Anderson.

Did you know the Sens average age is nearly 2 over the league average?

Sweet, sweet victory. Matrix played really well. Ceci looked good. Smith and Bobby scored...everything went right for a change!

Burrows deserves to play Saturday for sure.

I imagine Boucher will feel the need to ensure all the vets are in the lineup as some sort of badge of honour.

I said this earlier. I don't mind Burrows. I don't mind Phaneuf. U don't mind Thompson. I don't even mind Oduya if they played him less.

I just don't want to see all of them (older, slower) in the lineup at the same time. If Burrows gets back in, for God's sake sit Oduya. Oduya not care about winning?
