As much as Melnyk may want a 4th home game, the Senators have to finish this in 6. The Rangers are already through, and relatively healthy after dispatching the Habs. With a win this afternoon Ottawa will only have 19 fewer hours to recuperate. They have a number of players not at 100% and can ill afford to play the Rangers after a long series and a short rest.

The Bruins are still without 3 of their top 4 defensemen, although McAvoy has filled in pretty well. Up front they lost Krejci, so expect Spooner to draw back in (he was a semi-healthy scratch in game 5, but his replacement did alright, scoring 2 goals, including the double OT winner).

It's time to put the Bruins away. Attack them with speed, hit their D every chance you get, grab a lead and never *ever* let up.

Go Sens Go!!!

Expect some changes to the lineup. Stalberg is questionable. Kelly played a little over 7 minutes in a double OT game. Clearly Boucher wasn't impressed with what he brought. I still say with the last change he should have played White. If White comes in now with Cassidy determining the match ups it could end badly.

Kelly played 7:10; the only one with less ice time was Krejci, who did not finish the first period. The next lowest ice time among Senator players was MacArthur's 13:37. As for SH TOI, even Pageau had more, and he spent one of the team's 2 PKs in the box.

Is there anything that makes anyone think Kelly will play this afternoon?

Celtics game scheduled for 6:30? Do they nor realize even a regulation game lasts 3 hours? That's a half hour to remove the boards, put down the basketball floor and clean up. Less if Rancourt sings as slowly as he did last time.

After game 5 Cassidy said that some Sens chirped the Bruins bench after Krejci was injured, and that's what spurred them on to the win.

Hmm, the timeline is that Ottawa scored to go up 2-0 then had numerous failed opportunities to put the game away before losing in double OT.

Just how slow *are* the Bruins to take 3 hours to react to the chirping? I call shenanigans.

Where the hell is everyone? Up late celebrating the Habs' loss?

Claesson in,  Wideman out. Wingels in,  presumably Stalberg out (banged up).

Edit: Misread that, Wingels will play but Stalberg is game-time. If he doesn't play someone else will come in. White? I'll go ahead and assume it won't be Kelly.

Let's hope this series ends this afternoon and the Leafs are out by the end of the night. With MTL ousted yesterday it would make it a great 24 hours.

Beleskey in for Krejci; Spooner remains out.

Stalberg in. Kelly's ice time was always going to be low but losing a winger also messes up the lines.
Lame prediction: this game is a blowout, just not sure for whom.

So I'm trying out the free feed of the game on CastStream, using Chrome to play out and then casting to my ChromeCast. This isn't casting my display, it streams directly to the device. Anyhow, quality is very decent. Looks a little bit like film (ad opposed to tape) but still way better then SD. Likely 480i (DVD quality). If I donated then I could use a better stream (they even have some 60 fps).
