it makes zero sense to me why the sens are +155 right now

I don't understand how this is not at least even.  How is boston a favourite?   They could win, obviously,  but a favourite?   Don't get it

Kelly a scratch is a surprise for me, I thought this is basically why they signed him

Because they want the bigger Boston fan base to bet on the Bruins Smile

They signed him to take left handed draws and kill penalties. Brassard and Smith can take left hand draws, Stalberg can kill penalties better.

Maybe he was in the lineup toward the end because Smith was injured. With Pageau, Smith and Stalberg they have three solid penalty killers. Less of a need for Kelly.

Excellent point brought up on Twitter. Last time Dion and Clarke played together in the part season #ItWas4To1.

They would make Boston the underdog if that was the case

Different ways to encourage different bettors. It's always weird, since they want people to put more money on the side they expect to lose.

Krug and Carlo not traveling to Ottawa. While it's been widely reported that Krug is expected to miss all of round one, the story on Carlo was not so clear. A while back I had read that the return to play protocol included the player being 10 days symptom free. Can't find that reference now and there have been plenty of cases where players returned after missing fewer than 10 days (could friend on what specific symptoms were included). But on any case, I thought for sure Carlo would miss at least the first two games.

TGOR mentioned a rumor that Krejci was also banged up, but Pierre quickly dispelled that.

Pierre didn't dispell that Krejci was injured, he just said he had no idea what the injury was.

He said he spoke with him and spent time with him Saturday, and there was no indication at all that he was injured. Everyone is banged up at this time of year, sure, but rumors are flying that he will miss game one, and Pierre didn't think so.

Looks like Kelly *won't* play after all:

Morning skate over: Kelly is still out there with extras: Kelly, White, Neil, DiDomenico, Harpur, Jokipakka, O'Connor.

Keep in mind the earlier tweet:

Just going by colour scheme as the players trickle onto the ice for the morning skate, I think Kelly might play 2nite. Wingelscould be out.

I didn't think there was much question Kelly was out based on the lines yesterday at the more official pre-playoff practice.
