We might be smart to start laying the groundwork on getting a top 6 LW so dzingel can be relieved of some pressure and move to the third line.

I think it would have hit the defenseman's hip before the trapper and would have gone in. Regardless, Neil can't skate through the crease unless he's pushed, and even then, make it look like he's trying to get out of the way. He was a foot inside the blue paint.

The call against Karlsson was brutal, especially coming near the end like it did. Almost as if the refs were just looking to call something.

Earlier in the game Turris got a tripping call that should not have been a penalty. I don't specifically remember any wrong calls against the Sabres but there were quite a few late hits or holdups that could have easily been interference.

Not a strong game for the zebras, accentuated by bad PK from the Sens.
