Bobby Ryan with another Dung game.

Looks like one point tonight.  That's all we deserve today.

Was one of their better forwards actually.

Karlsson was probably the worst player on the ice.

Hoffman looked really pissed about not scoring that goal in OT. Smashed his stick when going back to the bench and also when they lost.
For all the people that think Hoffman is gonna coast now that he's got his contract he sure is showing plenty of emotions.

Scoring one goal per game you eventually lose.

Actually he wasn't, but none of their forwards were good. At some point he has to actually produce instead of mishandling the puck and making lazy offensive plays.

Horrid.

Obvious bias is obvious.

Yet Karlsson always gets excuses made for him

My time with a 4 year old is very precious, these games are crap to watch.  wake me up when we remember you need to score to win in this game.

It's a sumo. Nothing more. Wins are all that matter

The point was nice, the game was ok in spurts .   doesn't matter, I'd likely watch no matter what, but it's slow right now.

Is that supposed to be "slump"? I'll assume that for now. This slump has been going on for a few games. Strangely, their offense was fine to start the season, and Karlsson and Turris have continued to produce. Dzingel has out-performed expectations. But Ryan, Hoffman, Brassard, Pageau, Smith, Phaneuf, Ceci, Puempel have all underperformed. And when you have Pyatt and Dzingel as one-third of your top-six you know there will be problems. On the surface it means that Puempel is not living up to his draft position and expectations, and we are missing MacArthur. But it's also on Melnyk/Dorion. Heading into the start of the season with MacArthur out, Stone having missed most of camp, and Dzingle/Pyatt *ahead* of Puempel and in the top-six, well that should have been flagged. Kudos on Dorion for grabbing Condon; too bad there was not a cheap top-six winger available.

Still, we have to consider ourselves extremely fortunate to be where we are at, 19 points in 15 games extrapolates to almost 104 points on the season. But that extrapolation is surely going to drop if we continue scoring 1 regulation goal per game. Time for Boucher to start working on the offense. Fix the powerplay and also change how they play to draw more penalties. We are about 1 week away from his six-week timeframe. Not much time left. Here's hoping that fixing the offense will take less time than the defense.

they don't really have to work on offense. Goals will come regardless. PP is a different story.

The PP is a strange beast. It's inexplicable how they haven't scored more on it.

They really lack creativity coming into the zone I've noticed.  a lot of charging in, then going wide along the boards looking for a cross ice or center ice pass, which doesn't come.  or the curl back play which works better, but both are not too hard to defend

Going into Philly could be what this team needs to cure its offensive woes.

Dead last in the league on the man advantage. Boucher is rumored to be a power play specialist. Pierre is stunned.

Good thing the PK is clicking. Now 7th in the league.

Making them look like Hasek now would be great.
