I'm not interested in another mismanagement a la Shane Prince. Waive him to bingo if you aren't gonna use him and if you are going to use him give him a proper chance to succeed.

Look at what Varone did in preseason playing on random lines. Puempel has never come close to that at any point in time. If you need other good players around you to do anything, then you're probably not that good yourself. I think he'll get in some games before he gets waived, but I see zero reason to put him on either of the top two lines. I imagine once we see Lazar recalled in a couple weeks, we'll see Puempel going the other way.

I agree, but for the team to succeed we need three scoring lines. The way they are set up right now, I don't see that happening.SeawaySensFan wrote:Flo The Action wrote:I'm not interested in another mismanagement a la Shane Prince. It's more important for the team to succeed than any one player. Young Smitty is the better option to achieve team success.
I know. He did. That's also because he got to play with some decent players half the time.PTFlea wrote:tim1_2 wrote:Flo The Action wrote:I'm not interested in another mismanagement a la Shane Prince. To be fair, Puempel was excellent in the 13 games he played in Ottawa down the stretch in 2014/2015. That broken ankle or whatever really derailed what could have been a great start to his NHL career.
Well maybe if they put the prices down.PTFlea wrote:Ugh, we're taking a ton of heat on social media for not selling out. I'd personally NEVER go to a Leaf game. Their fans are obnoxious hicks and the prices have all been spiked up.

I know I would go if I lived in the area. Heck I'd probably get a 20 game package at least.

WOW....why the heck don't ppl wanna go? are ticket prices that bad?
Hoff-Machine wrote:if I was there, I'd be all over the available tickets right now. Wonder if the sens brass is broadcasting it to their public.
It's gonna look pretty bad on a national broadcast. Usually home openers are a guarantee sellout crowd night for the sens. They clearly f'd up something this time around.
