Moral of the story, never draft anyone by the last name of Kane. Nothing but trouble.

Lawyer representing Kane is the same one that represented the other Kane.

Anybody else think he will be much better in Anaheim and will up his value? I dint know how you can expect to have a good goalie in Toronto last season. Terrible team.

Pretty much every player is better when they leave Toronto. They're also better before they get there.

Gibson will get hurt, Bernier will play a bunch and be good.

At the very least Bernier will rehabilitate his reputation and the Ducks will get a favourable trade for him.

McPhee likely to be named GM for the Vegas strippers (aptly nicknamed for what they are about to strip from team's rosters)
Seems like probably the best choice. For me it would have been him or Maloney. Should be interesting to see who else they bring in.

Yeah it should be. Owner with deep pockets. Unlike many other franchises I think they might become competitive fairly fast if they draft players from other teams that don't end up costing them to the cap they might be able to be big players in FA. It's just the drafting that will set them back with having to wait a few years to develop guys.

You could also argue for that team nickname based on the Vegas strip.

I can think of no other connection.
