Exactly and me neither. I would fully expect smith to be traded as his value is at an all time high.
But DSP is a right handed winger and we have a spot open on the right side of the third line. The left side could be filled by someone else.

I guess I would still wish we'd get a top 6 LW that would move MacArthur to the third pairing. That could be a solid line. Mac, pageau DSP.

We have Stone, Ryan, Lazar, Neil on the right side. Lazar claims he is more comfortable at center but we have Turris, Zibanejad, Pageau, Smith, Paul and Pierre says that he'd be *chocked* if White wasn't in the NHL come October. Then there's Robinson and Gagne. Are you sure we need another botom-six right winger?

I'll be shocked if white is in the line-up in October. They've said they want to take their time with him and leave him for one more season in college and I agree with that reasoning. They also said that when he's ready he might start on he wing so he might not factor in to our depth at center just yet.

Gagné is going to take a while. At this stage he needs couple of years in the AHL.

Seems a waste to hide a highly touted prospect on the 4th line, but I like Pageau as the 3LC and Lazar is not a top-six center at this point in time. I suppose Pageau could center the 4th line but that's cruel. Maybe when Neil is gone you can make that into a secondary scoring line, in which case either one of Lazar or Pageau is welcome to center it.

Seems the organization at this point Madu have mucked up lazar by not developing his offensive game for a few years. Au this point is almost be happy if we could trade him in a package for a decent top 6 LW

At 21 years old though, and with the potential to be a number one or two guy as soon as next year. When he figures everything out, he could easily be a 50+ point D-man who is a devastating hitter/crease clearer. I love that deal for Columbus, but it ends when he's at his absolute peak at 27.

Sounds like an offer sheet might be in the works for Jones and/or Trouba.
