You can't compare contracts that were handed out years apart. If we were signing Karlsson right now, it'd be about $11M per.

Man, that would be something. They should just scrap everything -- trade PK for Draisaitl and a 4th, trade Pacioretty and Plekanec for more picks, throw $7M at Lucic, $5M at Campbell, give Gallagher the 'C'.
