If they interviewed him back then but went with Hartsburg, doesn't sound like they'd be all that interested this time around.

Hartley is a screamer, people like him have a short shelf life.

I'm shocked about Hartley, but I didn't realize he was with the flames for 4 seasons now. I could see him fitting with Minnesota.

Wonder if Marc Crawford, former Burke guy in Vancouver, will be leading candidate.

So, since 1987, the Hartley lasted longer than any other Flames coach. That's a decent sample size (~30 years). Based on their history, they weren't quick at all with him.

I've thought they were weak defensively all year and I dislike lehtonen and it's gonna bite them in their arse this series.

The game before lehtonen got the hook iirc. Crap defence, crap goaltending by lehtonen.
