I'd say that his ceiling is probably about $4M right now, but that number would surprise me. He'll sign a one-year deal at a massive paycut from his KHL salary. That's what he'll have to do if he wants to play in the NHL. I also think the $3M price tag is the most likely.

Yep, I'd agree with about $3M.

Hearing Fletcher has called ANA about Bruce Boudreau, but, sounds like he won't schedule any other interviews until after meeting Torchetti.

I think it would have. They were better at every single facet of the game, but if you take away a behemoth that plays ~30 minutes and replace him with Beauchemin, making the 2nd pairing a lot weaker, we would have had a better chance (obviously).

Gotta say the forward crop in leaf land looks pretty good. If the future is Matthews, Stamkos, Nylander, Marner, Vesey, and rat face.....that's not bad at all.

Good thing they got nothing on defence or goal. So that tells me they're the new oilers of the east.
