Personally....I like it.  Now if someone can do this to Brennan over here.

That Brooksie can't seem to make any friends.

Man I heard that on The Drive just pulling into the driveway. At least Fonzie kept calling him "Brooksie" which kinda made it sound like he was friendly with him. This was brutal. In a fun kind of way.

You guys think Danny boy(le) will retire? He's not showing much in the tank. Would of loved him a couple years ago now I'm not sure he could cut the second pairing. You never know with the sens though. They could probably get him at a bargain price on a one year deal.

Well that's what they would bring him in for.

Classic Murray move. This is Dorion's team now.

Remains to be seen if it's any different. Judging by dorions words in the past he seems a firm believer in the local connection.

Would have been. 2 years ago. Right now we have Phaneuf/Methot/Karlsson to provide veteran leadership on the back-end. If we hadn't made the trade for Phaneuf then I'd certainly consider this for that reason. But there's a very good reason you don't see many 40-year old D-men in this league.

There's zero point to bring in Boyle other than telling off Brennan.

I would tell him off for a lot less than even league minimum.

Boyle has the same initials, so he couldn't burn him with "Do you know what DB stands for, huh?"

Anyone has a YouTube stream for the Sharks game?

Side story, it will be interesting to see who takes a chance on radulov. I wonder how much he'll cost. Probably around 2 mill maybe 3 for one year? Plus whatever NSH expects to get for his rights which at this point can't be much more than a mid to late pick or b level prospect.

A little random but speaking of coaches that Pete Laviolette is right up there with the very best.

He's been making over $9M a year in the KHL (in addition to the perks) so there's no way in hell he signs for $2-3M anywhere. Apparently he's already had talks with Roy (Avalanche) who coached him in the Q. Does Nashville even have any claims on him any more? Is there some statute of limitation?

According to this I don't think Nashville holds his rights:

Radulov did, however, return to the NHL at the tail end of the 2011-12 season to play out the final year of his deal. In total, Radulov suited up for 17 games — nine in the regular season and eight playoff contests — scoring four goals and 13 points.

So he has fulfilled the terms of his ELC and he is past the RFA age, so he should be a UFA.

Of course Nashville doesn't have any rights to him, nor would they want to. There's a reason he's rumoured to go to other teams. Detroit is investigating the possibility.

This guy can go Diddle himself.

Bedlam in Dallas. Stars tie the game with two and a half mi utes left. This could coat St Louis the series.

I'd say that his ceiling is probably about $4M right now, but that number would surprise me. He'll sign a one-year deal at a massive paycut from his KHL salary. That's what he'll have to do if he wants to play in the NHL. I also think the $3M price tag is the most likely.
