I disagree, I think Florida may have finally arrived. I don't think they will top the division next year but I hunk they are a playoff team. Their youth is maturing quite nicely.

Florida kind of reminds me of Minnie. They're both right on the cusp of being great teams, but they both seem to have been arriving for quite some time. Both of them have a ton of unproven, high-potential core-players.

I think Florida could use some leadership going forward. They might take a run at Ladd to help them towards becoming a contender.

Great to see the blues get the win. I think they'll get passed Dallas now.

Yep, finally some new blood for the Caps to feast on in the Finals

Speaking of Caps or, rather, ex Caps coaches, heard an interesting thing today on TSN690 (Montreal). They were talking about Boudreau's horrific record in game 7 and how that time against Montreal the media remembers his whole demeanor changing. Basically they said he got very tight, nervous, and it translated to his team. So does Nashville take advantage of that? Or can they even score enough goals?

Tarasenko is an bunghole. You wonder why the Sens (and I) would never take Russians on my team anymore.

Ben Bishop last season. I don't know if Tom Barasso ever won a game 7 before he came to Ottawa. You'd have to pretty much list the sens goalies who've been in the playoffs.

Dominik Hasek must have won some I bet. But more recently, it's Bishop and Elliott.

My main point was moreso about how terrible it is for our franchise of over 20 years to not have won a single game 7. We've also only played in what.....5 game 7s? Only 1 on home ice.

FWIW, his coach said that he loves that about Tarasenko. It showed his competitive drive.

Remember when (Swede) Alfie said "Probably not"? Or when he missed training camp holding out for a better contract? Or when (Western Canada Separatist) Chris Phillips scored the cup winning goal ... for the other team? Or when (German-born) Schubert demanded to play defense? Or our other German demanded to play more ... but not here ... or there ... or pretty much anywhere except one place?

Pretty much can't trust anyone in this league except good ol' Ontario -- preferably Kingston -- boys.

That Brooksie can't seem to make any friends.

Man I heard that on The Drive just pulling into the driveway. At least Fonzie kept calling him "Brooksie" which kinda made it sound like he was friendly with him. This was brutal. In a fun kind of way.

You guys think Danny boy(le) will retire? He's not showing much in the tank. Would of loved him a couple years ago now I'm not sure he could cut the second pairing. You never know with the sens though. They could probably get him at a bargain price on a one year deal.
