Are you sure? Last we heard of it people seemed petty undecided about how they would vote.

Holtby with a 1-0 shutout. Caps advance, as expected, but with injuries.

Chicago will advance and make it to the final. That's my prediction.

Wild came back from a 2-0 early deficit once. But can they come back from being down 3-0 late in the 1st? Place is quiet as a tomb right now.

Spezza with 2 points in the 1st. 59 points in 62 playoff games (with 2 periods to go).

60 in 62, now. A goal and two helpers (so far) as Dallas is up 4-0, looking to advance.

Great finish to the Dallas game. Spezza tried to let Minny back in it by losing two d-zone faceoffs in a row cleanly, but they clung on to victory.

Lol dallas is a terrible 1 seed. The west was so weak this year.

I want The blues to advance but I can't help but be excited at the Dung storm that will hit st-Louis if they don't make it out of the first round. Hitchcock will be canned and they may make a few changes to the roster. The vultures will circle.

Eakins lost one in there. Spezza lost one and tied the last one, diving to knock the puck away. Gutsy effort there by Minnesota but how do you explain the icing on that play with the goalie pulled (Dallas player on the right of the net was tied with the Minny guy) but no icing on an identical play on Minny's 4th goal. I've seen that called icing a million times and always hated it. If it's a tie, it's too close to call so it can't be called on the hybrid rule. I'm OK with the Minny goal because that's the way I want that called, but the calling has to be consistent. And there were glaring non-calls in the last two minutes (should have been minors against Minnesota) but the refs weren't calling anything at that point.

Oh, and that "stop" where the puck was 99% across the line. That sure looked in from the other angle, but I have to admit, that's one of the best overhead shots we've ever seen -- nothing obstructing it. They need cameras in the ice right under the goal line.

They need to get one goalie going. Don't forget they are missing Seguin. But I've been saying for a while that the West is not as dominant as in the past. Hard to even say who the top team is, any more. San Jose? They've sucked in the post-season in the past. Kings? They are gone. Chicago? They *should be* gone. Dallas? They are all offense.

This is going to be Holtby's year to run The Price (all major awards).

Not sure what you mean. Holtby has zero chance at getting anything other than Vezina
