They sent half the team before Pageau got a chance. He should have been third if not second. Smith was the only one who deked and if he could get the puck up they get the extra points. Everyone else was shooting and Allen stopping everything.
I didn't actually see the end. Was watching via the PVR (live by that point) and padded by a half hour. After the 19th shooter the recording ended. And I couldn't tune the channel in because Bell Fibe have Dung software. Four tuners, and I'm recording two shows, yet there are no tuners available to watch TSN???! I'm calling them tomorrow, this is the third time something like this has happened recently. Another time I was recording a show at 8-9, and then two at 10PM and it wouldn't let me schedule a recording of the game (7:30-10). What kind of Dung is that?
Anyhow, 3 points back. Hammond was unreal. Stone was unreal.
Puempel was pretty useless, and I'm not saying this because I think Prince would have been better. Paul didn't do much.
Reffing was horrible. At least one phantom call but the Blues didn't get a single retaliation penalty for all the slashing and cross-checking, but Paul gets it when the guy grabs his stick. They did plenty hooking and hacking, too, as well as interference but somehow Pageau gets caught. They seemed to have fantastic vision when it came to the Sens infractions but myopia when it came to the Blues.
