And if you don't know, perhaps they know.  Goes that way, too.

If you think about it it makes a lot of sense. A while back the value on lehner was really good GM's were calling in to start talking to Ottawa about Lehner. Then things cooled off, they cooled off a lot. Suddenly Lehner wasn't the hottest goalie on the market. And at that time Talbot was also set to be available. My guess is word might have gotten out. You can't keep that kind of info out when you have paid staffs out there to gather up information. Of course we(as fans) would actually find out later than the people that's their job to find this stuff out.
Makes a lot of sense to me as to why his value seems to have dropped.

Or staff member doesn't like b murray or likes Tim murray and spreads rumours to hurt b mur or help Tim murray. Lots of game playing. Everything should be taken with a grain of salt

Not what this discussion was about at all. If I hear something from a player within the organization, I believe it.

Apparently Craig Anderson expects to be traded to EDM?

Player often in dark on own fate so grain of salt but Craig Anderson telling people expects to go to EDM is interesting #MusicalChairGoalies"

if sens can't unload other contracts, trading Anderson is the best move.

Anderson is perfect for Edmonton given his outstanding record when facing > 40 shots.

Again I would be floored if they traded Anderson but anything can happen I guess.

they're playing the long con. Tell everyone and their own players to make it seem like they're trading Lehner. Then BAM, Anderson for Hall.

I'm not a scientist but if they told player or implied to players that Lehner would be traded and then they trade Anderson I would think /hope it was for an excellent return. Has Edmonton ever had a goalie of his caliber?

Forget about Edmonton, I'm worried about the Sens if we trade Anderson.

We are talking in the last 10-15 years right? I would say Roloson and Anderson are very similar.

Ya. Could be a huge step backwards. Again. The return would have to be substantial. And not just taking dead weight contract. And more than the 33nd pick overall

How would you really know? Dubnyk looks pretty good away from Edmonton. Who's to say Khabiboozelin or Gerber might not have been good with a better team in front?
